Voyager vs Higgsfield
Higgsfield is a web platform that sells access to about a dozen third-party video and image models, plus its own Soul image model and studios such as Cinema Studio, paid for in Higgsfield credits. Voyager is a desktop app: an agent that generates with many of the same models and then keeps working in the creative apps on your computer, from Photoshop and Premiere Pro to Blender and Ableton Live, and in its own design, video and music editors. Higgsfield gives you rendered clips; Voyager is built for work that has to end up as an edited, layered project.
Choose Higgsfield to generate cinematic clips and fashion stills in a browser or on your phone, with nothing to install, camera presets to direct with, and Unlimited windows on listed models.
Choose Voyager when the work finishes in an editor: the agent works in your apps, keeps projects editable, and charges each generation at what its provider charges, with every rate published.
Higgsfield’s plans, credit costs and features were read from higgsfield.ai, its help centre and its Terms; each claim carries its source and the date it was read. Higgsfield changes its plan cards often, so treat the date as part of every figure. Updated .

Approach
A generator in the browser, or an agent on your computer.
Higgsfield: models and studios in a browser
Higgsfield licenses the major video and image models and sells access to all of them under one plan, then adds what the model vendors do not ship: Soul for stills, Cinema Studio for camera and lighting control, Popcorn for storyboards and Marketing Studio for product ads. (Higgsfield changelog, read ; How to use Cinema Studio, read )
Each generation comes back as a rendered file. Tools such as extend, regional edits and relighting rework a finished clip inside Higgsfield, and the result leaves as footage rather than a project.
Its agent, Supercomputer, plans a job, picks models and renders, all on Higgsfield’s platform. (How Higgsfield built Supercomputer, read )
Voyager: an agent on your computer
Voyager is a desktop harness for creative work. Its agent generates with a cloud model when a step needs one, then carries on in the software where the project lives, so the shot lands on your timeline and the still lands in your layered file.
You choose the agent: Voyager’s own, or Claude Code or Codex on the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already pay for, which costs nothing extra from Voyager.
If you don’t own Adobe or Ableton, Voyager’s own Design, Video and DAW editors come with the app, so a whole piece can be made and finished in one place.
Creative apps
Your agent works in the apps you already use.
Voyager’s agent operates the creative apps on your computer, with your own licences, alongside the models.
Photoshop
Illustrator
After Effects
Premiere Pro
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut ProBlender
Unity
Ableton Live
- + many more
You bring your own licences. Live control of the Adobe apps runs on macOS today. Trademarks belong to their owners; Voyager isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.
What Higgsfield does in editors
Higgsfield reaches into editors too. Its plugins add generation, reframing, upscaling and background removal to Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Figma and Blender, billed at web credit rates with no Unlimited, and AI Motion Designer builds editable titles, transitions and logo reveals in After Effects and Premiere Pro. The difference is scope: Higgsfield’s plugins bring its generations into the host app, while Voyager’s agent works the app itself, including apps that were not on Higgsfield’s plugin list on 17 September 2026, such as Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Unity and Ableton Live. (External integrations, read ; AI Motion Designer, read )
Built-in editors
Editors of its own, included.
Voyager comes with a design studio, a video editor and a DAW of its own, built for its agent and free with the app. They run on your machine, with no watermark and no project limits.
Voyager Design
Vector, raster and paint layers, layout, decks with PPTX, and motion graphics with keyframes. Exports PNG, SVG, PDF, PSD, Lottie and ProRes 4444 with alpha.
Voyager Video
Timeline, multicam, colour and keys. Hands off to Resolve and Premiere as OTIO, FCPXML or EDL, and delivers H.264, HEVC, ProRes and DNxHR.
Voyager DAW
Arranging, instruments, VST3 plug-ins, mixing and mastering to loudness targets, stems and MIDI export, and scoring to picture: cues from a video’s cuts and ducking under voice-over.
Voyager DAW does most of what you would do in Ableton Live or Logic Pro, from arranging and recording to mixing and mastering, and the rest is on the way. It doesn’t have sampled orchestral instruments yet.
Higgsfield’s studios generate and rework clips and images. It has no timeline editor or music workstation, so a multi-shot edit with a mix is assembled in another app. (How to use Cinema Studio, read )
Models
Many of the same models.
A shared model is the same model on either side. What differs is the price per generation, which settings each product exposes, and where the output goes next.

Pricing
Every rate published, at what the provider charges.
How Voyager charges
A credit is 1¢ of what the model’s provider charges, with no markup on any plan; where Voyager gets a lower rate, so do you.
Every model’s rate is published, so a generation’s cost is known before you run it.
With your own model keys and your own Claude or ChatGPT, the app costs nothing.
How Higgsfield charges
Higgsfield sets a credit price per model and setting, many marked approximate; the cost shows on the Generate button before you confirm. (Higgsfield pricing, read ; How credits work, read )
Plans carry Unlimited windows on listed models, on higgsfield.ai only, in the standard queue, with length caps. Plugins, MCP and Supercomputer always bill credits. (What are Unlimited models, read ; External integrations, read )
Subscription credits expire at renewal; packs last 90 days. (How credits work, read )
One example
Nano Banana 2.1, 1K, one image
Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s newest image model (released 6 October 2026), costs less on Voyager than on Higgsfield on every matched plan.
Higgsfield: 1.5 credits, read 8 October 2026. Voyager: 4 credits at 1¢ each.
| Plan | Higgsfield | Voyager |
|---|---|---|
| Entry, both $19Higgsfield Starter, Voyager Starter | 10.6¢ | 5.1¢ |
| Middle, $59 against $49Higgsfield Plus, Voyager Creator | 7.4¢ | 4.2¢ |
| Ultra, $129 against $149Higgsfield Ultra, Voyager Ultra | 6.5¢ | 4.1¢ |
| Largest individual plan, $375 against $500Higgsfield Ultra 9,000, Voyager GigaMax™ | 6.3¢ | 3.8¢ |
Monthly billing at renewal prices, before Voyager’s launch bonus. Higgsfield at its default medium thinking; it charges 2 credits at 2K and 3 at 4K. (Higgsfield Nano Banana 2.1, read )
Every Voyager rate is on the pricing page. Higgsfield’s full plan and credit breakdown is in Higgsfield pricing.
Which to choose
Pick by where the work ends up.
Choose Higgsfield if
- You want to generate in a browser or on your phone, with nothing to install.
- Fashion and editorial stills matter: Soul 2.0 with Moodboards and Soul ID is Higgsfield’s own model.
- You like directing with presets: Cinema Studio’s cameras, lenses and movements, or Popcorn storyboards.
- You make product ads from a link at volume, with Marketing Studio’s templates and avatars.
- You generate many short clips on the website and an Unlimited window on your models covers them.
- You want a large community catalogue: Higgsfield Apps lists hundreds of generative apps built by its users.
Choose Voyager if
- The work finishes in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Blender and Ableton Live, and you want the agent working there rather than handing you files.
- You want layered, editable projects you can hand off, not only rendered clips.
- You don’t own those apps: Voyager Design, Video and DAW come with it, free.
- You already pay for Claude or ChatGPT, or work in Claude Code or Codex, and want that agent doing the creative work.
- You want each generation priced at what its provider charges, from a published rate, and pack credits that last 12 months rather than 90 days.
- You also render Blender scenes and want them split across cloud GPUs.
Switching
Moving from Higgsfield.
- 1
Download what you want to keep
Your generations are in Higgsfield’s Assets as image and video files. Prompts and references stay in Higgsfield’s history, so copy the ones worth reusing.
- 2
Time the cancellation
Subscription credits expire at renewal and the plan stays usable until the paid period ends, so spend them first. Pack and Auto-Refill credits can only be spent with an active plan. Cancel under Manage Account, Subscription. (How credits work, read ; How to cancel, read )
- 3
Set up your agent and keys
Install Voyager, then use its agent or sign in with your own Claude or ChatGPT. Add your own model keys or a plan to generate.
- 4
Rerun a shot you know
Shared models such as Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0 take the same kinds of prompts and references on both, so a shot that worked on Higgsfield is a fair first test. Soul, Popcorn and Cinema Studio’s presets are Higgsfield’s own and do not carry over; write the camera and lens into the prompt instead.
- 5
Or keep both
Voyager connects to Higgsfield directly. Sign in with Higgsfield in Voyager’s settings and the agent generates on your Higgsfield plan’s credits (a paid plan is needed, and Unlimited does not apply outside Higgsfield’s website). Higgsfield is first in Voyager’s default provider order, so a plan you already pay for is spent before anything else, and you can still open Higgsfield for Soul or Cinema Studio.
What is the difference between Voyager and Higgsfield?
Higgsfield is a web platform for generating video and images with about a dozen third-party models plus its own, paid for in Higgsfield credits. Voyager is a desktop agent that uses many of the same models and also works in the creative apps on your computer and in its own design, video and music editors, so the result can stay a layered, editable project.
Does Voyager have the same models as Higgsfield?
Many of them. Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Wan 3.0, Wan 2.7, MiniMax H3 Max, Hailuo 2.3, Grok Imagine Video 1.5 and Nano Banana Pro are on both. Higgsfield’s own models, Soul, Popcorn and DoP, are only on Higgsfield. (Higgsfield changelog, read )
How does Voyager’s pricing compare with Higgsfield’s?
Voyager charges each generation at what the model’s provider charges (1 credit is 1¢), with no markup and every rate published. Higgsfield sets its own credit price per model, offers Unlimited windows on listed models on its website, and expires subscription credits at each renewal. (Higgsfield pricing, read ; How credits work, read )
Does Higgsfield work inside Premiere Pro or Photoshop?
Yes. Higgsfield has plugins for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Figma and Blender that bring its generations into the app, billed at web credit rates with no Unlimited. Voyager’s agent works in the apps themselves, across a list that also includes Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Unity and Ableton Live. (External integrations, read )
Can I use Claude Code or Codex with either?
Yes, in different ways. Higgsfield’s MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and other clients generate on your Higgsfield account with plan credits. Voyager lets Claude Code or Codex be the agent itself, on your own subscription, at no charge from Voyager. (What is Higgsfield MCP, read )
Can I use my Higgsfield plan inside Voyager?
Yes. Sign in with Higgsfield in Voyager’s settings and generations run on your Higgsfield plan’s credits, for the models Higgsfield offers. A paid Higgsfield plan is needed, and Unlimited applies only on Higgsfield’s own website. You can also add a Higgsfield API key, which spends Higgsfield’s separate prepaid API balance.
Do I have to install Voyager?
Yes. Voyager is a free desktop app for macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon, with Windows 11 and Linux in alpha and mobile apps coming soon. Higgsfield runs in a browser, so it is the better fit if you can’t install software.
